“Phil spoke at our service and had a deep impact. People signed up for Alpha and many others were touched by God’s peace and presence through his talk. I highly recommend inviting Phil to speak at such an event – it is a story of humanity and of God’s presence in the darkness of loss and grief with which everyone can relate”. Brian Harty, Leader, Centrepoint Church, Guildford.
“The next morning I went into the school staff room and heard my non-Christian friends telling the rest of the staff of Phil’s talk, how overawing but wonderful to listen to. Later I was walking to the school gate and some of the mums were doing exactly the same, sharing how the Lord had helped this family in their need. It seems now that I don’t have to wonder who to ask to the next outreach – they have asked me to come.” Jean, Fressingfield Baptist Church
“Phil’s ‘A12 to Heaven’ talk was deeply moving! He shared with real openness the struggles but at the same time a concrete belief in the goodness of God!” Adam Bradley, Leader, Christ Community Church, Attleborough
“Each Mothering Sunday afternoon we have a short service for parents whose children have died. Last year we invited Phil to speak to us. People were speaking about it for weeks afterwards. One man in particular who although not a bereaved parent had recently emerged from a very dark time in his life. What Phil said resonated with him and even now he will quote Phil’s words.” Rev Linda Ricketts, St Mary Magdalene Church, Gorleston
“Thank you for speaking on Friday evening. The feedback I have had from everyone over the weekend has all been very positive – so thank you both for joining us and sharing with us.” Rev Heather Wilcox, Pakefield Church, Lowestoft
“Phil’s visit had a profound impact. As he shared with us we saw God’s grace, power, strength and love through the tragedy of losing his two wonderful daughters. Our hearts and lives were touched and changed and we will never forget God’s goodness to the family.” Andrew Chapman, Leader, Kings Church, Yarmouth
Talks usually last about 45 minutes and include a short video clip from an ITV documentary in which Phil’s family appeared in shortly after the accident.
